Spoleto

Austere and picturesque city, located in a beautiful position, at 396 m. above sea level, on a hill culminating in a hill, crowned by the fortress, at the foot of the wooded Monteluco.

The town, with its gray turreted profile, slopes towards the plain in a suggestive setting of green mountains.

City of ancient origins, Spoleto is today one of the main tourist centers of Umbria, as well as for the importance of its archaeological, medieval and Renaissance monuments, for the numerous and very interesting cultural and artistic events that take place there, such as the Festival of Two Worlds and the opera season.
